So you have got the filmmaking talent of Steven Spielberg but the bank account of that homeless guy down the block who always forgets to put on pants — significant problem, right? Not according to 24-year old filmmaker Lena Dunham, who’s been making a large stir with her low-budget, critically acclaimed characteristic Tiny Furniture. Shot for just under the price of a mid-sized car, there is absolutely nothing mid-sized about the response that Dunham has been finding for Tiny Furniture. The film took home the top prize at the South by Southwest Film Festival and has attracted big-name fans like Judd Apatow and Will Ferrell.

I could not stop laughing at the finish of the film.

Rest of story entails how Neha tries to maintain Preeti’s boyfriend (played by Rohit Roy) and neighbor away from her as she is insecure that she could loose her.

Tiny Furniture tells the story of a young woman named Aura who returns property to live with her household right after college in an try to determine what to complete with her life.

Dunham not only wrote, directed and starred in the indie darling, she also filmed most of the scenes in her very own New York apartment. Dunham also made the decision to forgo the classic casting process and instead filled her cast list with real-life friends, her sister as well as her very own mother. The outcome is really a funny, heartfelt film that has delighted critics and film festival audiences alike.

There is absolutely nothing new in this story and no suspense over unfolding of events during the complete movie. Starting initial half is slow with unnecessary boring scenes and there is no develop up to what’s going to take place next.

It’s only right after the interval the plot starts to unfold. Every thing is predictable and shown that way, which is why this film fails. But the way all scenes have been shot gives an impression of an amateurish director who’s just thinking about completing the project.

No originality whatsoever.
