As July quickly approaches us schools start to break up and folk start to go away for their summer holidays. On the other hand there is another group of people that have abandoned going on holiday and are already planning their Christmas shopping list. But why are these people doing this? And is it something that is very important?

People are now doing it more then ever because of the current credit crisis situation and scare. Everyone knows that Christmas time is the most expensive time of the year, I mean you have to buy gifts for the whole family and most of your close friends, its bound to set you back at least one months wages.

So folk are starting to purchase early, they are literally going out and thinking that if they do their shopping in the summer then they will be able to get things for a lot less and save a massive amount of cash in the process. Personally I feel that it is wrong to do this, we have different times of the year for a reason. Christmas is meant to be a happy and fulfilling time, it is not meant to be about worrying all year. How are you meant to enjoy any of this if all you do is worry?

Plus you are going to be missing out on all of the excitement of a Christmas shop. People love going to town and shopping around for gifts when there is Christmas lights and Christmas trees all over the place. It just makes you feel so happy about it all.

Finally I also personally think that you can also save cash even if you do your shopping near the season. It's really all about knowing how to "Clever Shop", I mean there are great deals to be had online.
