It is always nice to see when a couple takes on the responsibility of having a new baby with such joy and considers the task ‘heavenly’. It is even more pleasantly surprising if the couple is world-famous – the mother for her singing career, and the father as a rapper. It is a delight because they are willing to take time off from their busy schedules and lifestyle just to make way for the newcomer in their new family. The father even composed a rap song for their new bundle of joy as an expression of his profound happiness. I wonder how long the will wait until she is dazzled in diamond stud earrings.

This is the situation of B.I.C. or Blue Ivy Carter, who was born last January 7 at the Lenox Hill Hospital in the Upper East Side of New York City. She is the newest addition to the home of celebrity couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z. Beyonce is currently one of the hottest divas around, while Jay-Z has been hailed as the greatest rapper alive.

The couple has received flak from the security measures that they arranged as a necessary precaution for the delivery of their newborn baby. They aspired for the best and most amiable environment possible for their newborn, but unfortunately, a lot of other voices are complaining, because these security measures allegedly prevented them from having their own wonderful experience with their own babies.

According to some sources, the couple supposedly rented out and renovated an entire wing of the aforementioned hospital for a staggering USD 1.3M for purposes of privacy and security during the process of giving birth to their child. Imagine how many diamond stud earrings you could have gotten with that. Allegedly, the couple had the glass panes bulletproofed, and according to one complaining client, the premises were highly secured and that security cameras had been taped over, and that hallway windows with a view of the ward had been blacked out.

Parents who were prevented from seeing their families and babies are allegedly mobilizing a protest due to the “disgusting” treatment of them by the hospital and the security personnel hired by the celebrity couple wearing diamond stud earrings.

In contrast to these reports, the hospital staff is allegedly troubled by such stories, which they insist are untrue. The hospital executive director insists that they received no such million-dollar fee, that the celebrity couple was billed with the same standard fees for the accommodations they used and the services they were rendered. And while the Beyonce and Jay-Z did indeed hire security for themselves, he insisted that the hospital continued to be in total control of the security of the premises, and that the private security of the celebrity couple did not obstruct, bar or inconvenience any of the other hospital patients and clients in any way.

Other mothers and fathers, on the other hand, did not agree. They reported that they struggled just to see their newborn babies, and that visiting family members also found it hard to see their loved ones, all because of the intensive measures of security employed during the stay of Beyonce and Jay-Z. They told reporters that they were not interested at all with Beyonce or Jay-Z, and that the only thing they want is to have their loved ones with them in this significant moment in their life. They criticized that it was as if Obama himself was on the building during that occasion.
